Danielle is a veteran roller derby player who uses her strength and endurance to wear down opponent blockers. She is a vocal leader on the track and has been known to lay out unsuspecting jammers.

Danielle is a charter member of the Red Hots. She joined in 2013 after years as a leader on a suburban league. She has participated in every USARS Nationals with the team.

Where were you born?
I am a stay at home mom, accountant and hairstylist.
How old were you when you first skated?
I was 2.
Did you practice any other sports in high school or college?
I participated in varsity swimming and water polo.
What you would tell a young girl who wanted to play roller derby?
You will never regret the decision to put those skates on your feet, but you will regret it if you don’t. Life is short. Do everything you want to do!
What is your favorite thing about roller derby?
My favorite thing is all of the unique people who come together to build this sport. We are all here to support one another. I have met so many great people along the way, and I know we will be friends and family for life.
How far you travel to practice?
What has been the best roller derby game you have played?
Against the Pennsylvania All Stars at Cicero in 2014. . Amazing athleticism shown by both clubs.
Have you played roller derby on other teams?
Before Red Hots, I used to play on the Aurora 88s.

What you do for charity/volunteering?
I raise money for the American Cancer Society every year for the Walk and Roll in honor of my late cousin.
